Abstract
The development of achievement tests is a crucial component of experimental and developmental research in the field of education. A consistent and accurate achievement test can measure the certified outcomes of participants. This study focuses on the construction of an achievement test in a systematic and logical manner for Class VIII pupils in geography. In this investigation, an objective-type achievement test with a blueprint was prepared, and an enquiry was conducted to determine the difficulty level and discriminative index of each item. The nature of the questions in the achievement test included true/false, fill-in-the-blanks, and multiple-choice formats. This study will be useful for analysts, educators, and other related professionals in developing reliable and valid achievement tests. The results revealed that the academic achievement test for segment instruction is both consistent and appropriate.
